Adam R. Nelson is a Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professor of Educational Policy Studies and History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research focuses on the history of education, global higher education, and the intersection of knowledge economies with national and international contexts. He has held prestigious fellowships and awards, including Guest Professorships at Zhejiang and Peking Universities, and has contributed to influential works such as Education and Democracy and The Global University.
