Dr. Adam N. Stulberg is the Sam Nunn School Chair and Professor at the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, part of the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts at Georgia Institute of Technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from UCLA, M.A. degrees from Columbia University and UCLA, and a B.A. in History from the University of Michigan. His research focuses on energy geopolitics, strategic stability, nuclear nonproliferation, and emerging technology impacts on security. He has served in key roles with organizations like RAND Corporation, the Center for Nonproliferation Studies, and the EastWest Institute, advising on policy for U.S.-Russia relations and energy security.
Dr. Stulberg’s expertise spans defense transformation, nuclear strategy, and Eurasian security. He has authored five books and published widely in academic and policy journals. Recognized for teaching excellence, he received multiple awards including the ‘Professor of the Year’ honor and the Ivan Allen Jr. Legacy Faculty Award. He chairs the Sam Nunn-Bank of America Policy Forum and serves as Associate Director of the Strategic Energy Institute. His recent work addresses gray-zone conflicts, energy security dilemmas in Eurasia, and strategic stability in the context of emerging technologies.
