About
Adam Martin is Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Notre Dame's College of Science. He serves as Director of Postdoctoral Scholars for the College. His research explores particle physics beyond the Standard Model, specializing in effective field theory techniques, LHC phenomenology, and dark matter.
He was awarded the Rev. Edmund P. Joyce, C.S.C., Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching in 2021. Recent publications focus on supersymmetric amplitudes, energy-enhanced SMEFT expansions, and geometric formulations of effective field theory (geoSMEFT).
His work frequently addresses dimension-8 operators, gluon fusion processes, and cosmological particle production using deep neural networks.
