Adam J. Mills is an Associate Professor of Marketing and Chase Professor of Minority Entrepreneurship at the Loyola University New Orleans College of Business, where he also serves as Faculty Director for Graduate Programs and Associate Dean. With a corporate background in hospitality marketing and operations management, his research focuses on branding, service operations, storytelling, and experiential pedagogy.
He has held editorial roles as Associate Editor for the Journal of Strategic Marketing, International Journal of Advertising, and Journal of Marketing Education, and serves on the Board of the Marketing Educators’ Association. His work appears in journals like Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science and Marketing Theory, while his teaching emphasizes marketing strategy, consumer research, and entrepreneurship.
Notable awards include the 2020 Lou E. Pelton Award and the 2019 Journal of Marketing Education Reviewer of the Year. He has taught at institutions such as Babson College and University of Massachusetts Amherst, and consults for the Government of Canada’s Center for Strategic & International Studies.
