Adam Ganz

Adam Ganz is a Professor in the Department of Media Arts at Royal Holloway, University of London, and an Associate Researcher at the Holocaust Research Institute. He specializes in audiovisual narrative, digital storytelling, and collaborative narrative forms. His work bridges academia and creative industries, focusing on immersive technologies and historical memory. He co-leads the CoSTAR National Lab (£51.1m UK investment) for creative technology R&D and previously directed the StoryFutures Academy's Writers Room.

Research interests include digital media migration, Holocaust memory studies, and performance authenticity. He has produced award-winning radio dramas (e.g., The Gestapo Minutes), films (This Blessed Plot), and immersive theater pieces like Felix's Room, reconstructing family history through spatial storytelling. Collaborations include ScanLab Projects and the Komische Oper Berlin.
