Adam Gaffey

Adam Gaffey serves as Associate Professor and Department Chair in the Department of Communication Studies at Winona State University's College of Liberal Arts. He joined the university in 2016 and specializes in rhetorical studies examining how messages influence public affairs and cultural narratives.

His research interests focus on political rhetoric, visual culture, public memory, and presidential communication. Gaffey analyzes diverse rhetorical artifacts from political speeches to film narratives, exploring themes of democratic engagement and cultural representation.
