Dr. Adam Chapman is a Lecturer in Medieval History and General Editor of the Victoria County History (VCH) at the Institute of Historical Research, University of London. He holds a PhD from the University of Southampton and an MA in Medieval History from the University of East Anglia (UEA). His work bridges academic research and public history through the VCH, the largest publishing project in English local history.
Research interests include the cultural impacts of medieval warfare, medieval landscapes, and tracking individual histories via documentary records. He also explores technological advancements in historical and archaeological research.
