Adam C. Levine

Dr. Adam C. Levine is a Professor of Emergency Medicine and International and Public Affairs at Brown University, serving as Director of the Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Studies at the Watson Institute and Associate Dean of Global Health Equity at the Warren Alpert Medical School. He holds an MD from UCSF, an MPH from UC Berkeley, and specializes in global health emergencies, humanitarian response, and infectious disease management. His research focuses on improving emergency care in resource-limited settings, with a focus on cholera, Ebola, and disaster response. He leads NIH-funded studies on dehydration diagnostics, Ebola vaccine hesitancy, and pandemic preparedness, including a landmark trial on convalescent plasma for early COVID-19 treatment.
