Adam Bates

Adam Bates is an Associate Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with affiliations in the Department of Computer Science and the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department. His research focuses on data provenance, cybersecurity, and secure system design.

He received his PhD from the University of Florida under Professor Kevin Butler, collaborating with the Florida Institute for Cybersecurity Research.
