Adam Świerżewski

Adam Świerżewski is a faculty member at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, where he currently serves as the Rector. He previously held roles such as Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Promotion and Director of Part-time Studies at the Faculty of Graphic Arts. He also heads the Visual Identity and Systems Design Studio.

• Education: Graduated in 2003 with a focus on graphic design under Professor Janusz Górski, followed by postdoctoral research on multichannel visual communication supervised by Professor Sławomir Witkowski.

Research Interests: Specializes in the multi-channel nature of visual communication and its utilitarian applications, including logo design, branding, and systematic visual identification.

Professional Contributions: Runs an independent graphic design studio with clients like the European Solidarity Centre, Museum of the Second World War, and corporate entities such as ING Bank and Sheraton Sopot Hotel.
