Adal Rifai

Adal Rifai is a Lecturer at the School of Theatre and Music, University of Illinois Chicago, specializing in improvisation for actors. He has over 15 years of experience performing and teaching improvisational comedy in Chicago and nationally.

Rifai is an iO Chicago Harold team performer and coach, with notable performances including Revolver, Whirled News Tonight, and Pudding-Thank-You. He has also appeared at Second City as a member of Twisty, HouseCo, and SketchCo. His expertise extends to directing and developing coaching programs at institutions like Playground Theater. Rifai is recognized for his role as the voice of Chunt the shapeshifter on the podcast Hello From the Magic Tavern.
