Achim Geissler

Prof. Achim Geissler is a Lecturer and Head of the Research Group 'Buildings and Energy' at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland FHNW. He specializes in sustainable and energy-efficient construction, thermal building simulation, and building physics. His teaching includes modules like Physics & Building Physics I/II, Sustainable Construction, and Energy Efficiency in the Civil Engineering and EUT programs.

His research focuses on innovative facade technologies, thermal dynamics in buildings, and energy efficiency strategies. He has supervised numerous Bachelor theses and project works, emphasizing practical applications of sustainable construction principles.
