Abu Shonchoy is an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department at Florida International University. His research spans interdisciplinary topics in development economics, financial technology, public health, and education policy.

Shonchoy's work focuses on technology adoption in developing contexts, particularly mobile banking, and examines how behavioral and policy interventions can improve socioeconomic outcomes.
