Abigail Raz is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the Albert Nerken School of Engineering, The Cooper Union. She holds a B.A. from Wellesley College (2014) and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Rutgers University (2019), advised by Jeff Kahn. Her research focuses on extremal and probabilistic combinatorics, particularly analyzing thresholds for classical properties in random graph models.
Before joining Cooper Union, she was the Edith T. Hitz Postdoctoral Faculty Fellow at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln (2019–2021). There, she contributed to undergraduate math club activities and the Association for Women in Mathematics chapter.
