Abigail Kolb

Abigail Kolb is Associate Professor in the Department of Civic Engagement and Public Service at University of West Georgia's University College. With a PhD in Criminology from Simon Fraser University and clinical social work background, her research examines intersections of race, class, and gender in criminal justice systems.

Dr. Kolb directs Prison Education Programs at Hays State Prison, implementing bachelor's degree programs for incarcerated individuals. Her scholarly work includes publications on sex offender treatment, gang disengagement, and narrative methodologies in criminology. She brings over a decade of forensic social work experience to her teaching and research.
