Abigail Kindelsperger is a Lecturer and Associate Director of English Education in the Department of English at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She holds a PhD from UIC and has over a decade of teaching experience at secondary and collegiate levels. Her research focuses on urban adolescent literacy practices and socially engaged teacher preparation.
