Abigail Gilbert

Dr. Abigail Gilbert is Co-Director of the Institute for the Future of Work (IFOW) and a Research Associate at Digit. She focuses on policy-relevant research at the intersection of AI disruption, governance, and workplace transformation across system, firm, and individual levels. Her work has been supported by UK regulators and she has spearheaded initiatives like the Pissarides Review into the Future of Work and Wellbeing, as well as an independent AI sandbox for employment-focused regulation.
