Abigail Cox

Abigail Cox, DVM, PhD, DACVP is an Associate Professor of Comparative Pathology at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine, with dual appointments in the Department of Comparative Pathobiology and the Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory. She serves as Director of the Histology Research Laboratory and Section Head of Pathology.

Her research focuses on anatomic pathology, including general pathology and veterinary systemic pathology. She actively contributes to the field through leadership in histology research and clinical diagnostics.

Scientific accolades include certification as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (DACVP). Current research initiatives involve collaborations through the Histology Research Laboratory and the One Health program at Purdue.
