Abdullah al-Jabassini

Abdullah al-Jabassini is a Research Fellow at the Department of International Relations, Central European University (Vienna). He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies (Bologna), a Non-Resident Scholar at the Middle East Institute (Washington, D.C.), and an Associate Researcher at the Bonn International Centre for Conflict Studies (Bonn).

His research examines political violence, insurgency dynamics, and governance in conflict zones, with a regional focus on the Middle East. Key areas include authoritarian conflict management, rebel-military integration, and reconciliation processes in post-conflict environments.

Al-Jabassini previously worked on projects like Wartime and Post-Conflict in Syria and Syrian Trajectories at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies.
