Abdul No

Prof. Abdul No is a Professor in the Civil Engineering Department at Istanbul Technical University. His research focuses on earthquake engineering, solid body mechanics, structural dynamics, and structural mechanics. He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Istanbul Technical University (1994–1998) and a Master’s in Structural Engineering from the same institution (1992–1994). He completed his undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering at Yildiz Technical University (1987–1991).

• Administrative Roles: Institute Director (2015–2016), Deputy Director of the Institute (2012–2015).
• Professional Memberships: Member of the Engineering Mechanics Institute (EMI)-ASCE since 2019.

He has held academic positions including Professor (2010–present), Associate Professor (2004–2010), and various research roles since 1992. He also served as a visiting scholar at the University of Southern California (2000–2002).
