Abby Armstrong (she/her) is an Adjunct Associate Professor and medievalist whose research explores patronage, urbanism, architectural performance, material culture, and the medieval built environment of France. She has taught courses as an adjunct lecturer at Mount Mary University, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee since 2017.

Research Interests: Abby’s work centers on the social history, patronage, architecture, and material culture of medieval France, particularly focusing on Provins and the Counts of Champagne. She combines interdisciplinary approaches to analyze the interactions between religious communities, inhabitants, and architectural landscapes.
