Dr. Abbie Jordan is a Reader in the Department of Psychology at the University of Bath and a core member of the Bath Centre for Pain Research. She leads the Pain in Children research theme and focuses on socio-developmental aspects of pediatric chronic pain.

Her research explores familial dynamics, identity formation, and diagnostic uncertainty in chronic pain contexts. Key methodologies include reflexive thematic analysis and qualitative synthesis. Recent work addresses pandemic-related loneliness and musculoskeletal pain interventions.
