Aaron Su

Aaron Su is an incoming Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Colorado College, specializing in the sociocultural implications of technology. He contributes to Platypus, the CASTAC Blog, as a scholar examining intersections of innovation and social inequality.

His CASTAC blog post "The Sovereignty of Wearables: Indigenous Health and Digital Colonialism in Taiwan" analyzes Amis Indigenous women's experiences with health-tracking devices, revealing tensions between technological invisibility and bodily sovereignty. Current work emphasizes decolonial approaches to digital health interventions in marginalized communities.
