Aaron Rodrigues

Aaron Rodrigues is a Lecturer in the Political Science Department at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly). He also serves as a full-time instructor at Cuesta College. His academic work focuses on the intersection of Latino/a studies, race, and ethnicity in the United States, particularly examining legal interpretations of the 14th Amendment's Equal Protection Clause.

• Education: Undergraduate at University of Southern California, Graduate studies at Stanford University (ABD in Political Science).
• Research: Centered on racial and ethnic minority rights in constitutional law.
• Projects: Participating in an oral/video history project documenting prominent Mexican-Americans in the Rio Grande Valley, sponsored by the University of Texas and the Texas Council for the Humanities.

Scientific Awards:

• 2003 California Faculty Association's Outstanding Lecturer Award at Cal Poly.
