Aaron Henkin

Aaron Henkin serves as Lecturer in The Writing Seminars and Senior Producer at the iDeas Lab within the Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics. With 22 years of experience at WYPR (Baltimore’s NPR affiliate), he produced award-winning radio programs like Out of the Blocks (winner of a national Edward R. Murrow Award) and The Maryland Curiosity Bureau. His work has been featured nationally on NPR’s Morning Edition and All Things Considered.

His career spans cultural journalism, documentary production, and public media innovation. Notable projects include the long-running The Signal and the Smithsonian Folkways series Tapestry of the Times.
