Aaron Ballard

Aaron Ballard is an Adjunct Professor of Theatre Arts at Furman University, returning to Greenville after a decade in New York City. She is a multifaceted professional actor, writer, producer, and arts educator with extensive work in theatre, film, and television. Notable credits include roles in Off Broadway productions like OUR TOWN and appearances on LAW AND ORDER: SVU and LITTLE AMERICA.

• B.A., Theatre, College of Charleston
• B.S., Psychology, College of Charleston

Research & Interests: Aaron focuses on theatre education, script development for playwrights and screenwriters, and the application of acting techniques such as the Meisner Approach, Michael Chekhov Technique, and Uta Hagen's methods. Her work bridges traditional theatre training with contemporary film production.

Current Projects:

• Devised play with Wishbone Theatre Company inspired by the Founding Fathers
• Cast member of Adesto Theatre's Spontaneous Play, an improvised ensemble performance
