Aaron Baldwin

Aaron Baldwin is a Professor of Art and the Art Program Coordinator at Charleston Southern University (CSU), where he has taught for over 25 years. His academic credentials include a BS in Graphic Communications and an MFA in Painting, both from Clemson University.

Aaron's research and teaching interests span Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Design, Art History, and Visual Arts. As a practicing artist, his work includes Prints, Paintings, and Sculpture, showcased in galleries across the Southeastern United States.

He has participated in numerous juried exhibitions from New York to Atlanta and has been represented in galleries in Atlanta, Greenville, Columbia, and Charleston. In 2024, he was selected as an artist for the prestigious Piccolo Spoleto Outdoor Art Exhibition.

Aaron previously taught studio art and design as an adjunct faculty member at Clemson University and UNC Charlotte before transitioning to Charleston Southern. He resides in McClellanville with his wife Terri, a respected interior designer, and his dog Watson, who doubles as his hiking partner.
