Aakriti Singh

Aakriti Singh is a Research Fellow at the Department of Molecular Biology, Umeå University, Sweden. She is affiliated with Barbara Sixt's research group, focusing on the in vivo efficacy and mechanism of action of novel antimicrobial agents targeting intracellular bacteria.

Research Interests span Microbiology, Antimicrobial Therapy, and Nanotechnology-based drug delivery systems. Her work includes surface-functionalized lipid nanocarriers for oral anti-leishmanial therapy and exploring new treatments for Chlamydia infections.
