Aydin Atakan is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Plant and Animal Production, Araban Vocational School, Gaziantep University, Turkey. He holds a PhD in Plant Protection (2020) and an MSc in Plant Protection (2014) from Süleyman Demirel University, and a BSc in Plant Protection from the same institution (2012). His research focuses on plant pathology, phytopathology, and agricultural biotechnology, particularly in fungal disease management and sustainable practices.
His scholarly output includes 14 peer-reviewed articles and 6 book chapters on topics like Trichoderma-based biocontrol, miRNA targeting plant pathogens, and mycorrhizal fungi applications. Notable projects include In vitro biocontrol efficacy of Trichoderma and Molecular investigation of calcium nanoparticles.
