AEIMIT K. LAKDAWALA

AEIMIT K. LAKDAWALA is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Wake Forest University. He received his B.S./B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and his Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego.

His research focuses on empirical macroeconomics with specializations in monetary policy transmission, emerging market economies, and the intersection of macroeconomics with finance. His investigations span firm-level uncertainty, distributional effects of inflation, central bank credibility, and international spillovers of monetary policy.

Recent publications demonstrate a strong emphasis on emerging economies (particularly India), analysis of monetary policy uncertainty through market-based measures, and heterogeneous effects of policy across firms and demographics. Methodologically, his work employs structural VAR models, high-frequency identification, and micro-level data analysis.
