ADOLFO FIGUEIRAS GUZMAN

Adolfo Figueiras Guzmán is a full-time Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Santiago de Compostela. He is affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry, Radiology, Public Health, Nursing and Medicine and contributes to research under the ESPASS: Epidemiology, Public Health and Health Services Evaluation group, as well as the Institute of Psychology (IPsiUS).

• Educational Background: PhD (1993) from the University of Santiago de Compostela with the thesis Factors associated with the prescription of prescription drugs and sources of therapeutic information, a pharmacoepidemiological study, directed by Dr. Juan Jesús Gestal Otero.

His research focuses broadly on Preventive Medicine and Public Health, with specific emphasis on pharmacoepidemiology and therapeutic information sources. He actively collaborates in public health research and health services evaluation through the ESPASS group.
