A. Malkwitz is a Professor and Head of the Institute for Construction Operations and Management (IBB) at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Duisburg-Essen. He leads academic programs in Construction Management, including Bachelor and Master degrees, and oversees research initiatives focused on efficiency in construction processes, Facility Information Management (FIM), sustainable procurement, and the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and machine learning in construction cost forecasting.
