İnci Basa

Dr. İnci Basa is an Associate Professor at the Middle East Technical University (METU), Department of Architecture. Her research focuses on urban space production, architectural discourse, urban culture, and the relationship between language and architecture, particularly in the context of early Republican Ankara.

Her research examines the interplay between urban public spaces and socio-political transformations, with a particular emphasis on Republican memory in Turkish cities.
